Artisan Cinnamon-Raisin-Maple-Walnut Sourdough Loaf

One of my favorite treats has always been cinnamon raisin toast with butter. Once I had perfected our traditional Artisan Country Loaf, I wondered if I could make a raisin sourdough bread, with cinnamon, maple syrup and walnuts (all organic, of course). After a few attempts, I found the perfect balance of ingredients and the result is amazing. Not only is this great as a toasted slice with butter, it also makes the most amazing French Toast! I don’t even add any syrup on top; just Organic Pastures Cultured Butter (or vegan butter if you prefer). After such a hearty and nutritious dish as this, you might not be hungry for several hours! Place your order anytime before noon on your desired day of pickup (use the date/day selector below), and your loaf/loaves/butter will be ready for you when you come to the bakery on Friday (2-7), Saturday (12 to 6) or Sunday (9 to noon) at 2214 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank. Note: Our artisan Cinnamon Raisin Maple Walnut sourdough is baked, cured and frozen. It restores to room temperature very well and we include an instruction card that explains how to do this for best results.
