When you want the crust, the crumb and the character of our signature Country Loaf, but our full-size round is just too much for your household, we have good news… Introducing our Artisan Sourdough Petite Country Loaf!

Weighing in at about 2/3 the size of our traditional loaf, this Petite “chaDOUGHbriand” is just the thing for one or two sourdough aficionados to enjoy.

At a little more than half the price of our full loaves, this Petite Country Loaf is a great value, too!

But there’s a catch… we make a very limited number of these loaves per week. Once they’re sold out, there won’t be any more until the following week. Ordering here guarantees you’ll get the loaves you want on the day you want them.

Available with our signature triangle or delicate heart crust score design. Please specify your preference in the Special Instructions box during checkout. We will endeavor to accommodate your request, but if we run out of one design, we will substitute the other.

Note: If we run out of our fresh loaves, we may have frozen loaves available (unsliced or sliced). Our frozen loaves thaw/rehydrate perfectly, and have the added health benefit of reduced glycemic index (a scale of carbohydrate-to-blood sugar conversion during digestion; the lower the number, the better) from 53 to 37 when our sourdough is frozen, then thawed. Toasting this bread after thawing reduces the glycemic index another 10%, bringing that number down even further to 33! Compared to the glycemic index of white bread or pure glucose (100), this is a very good thing for people monitoring their carb/sugar intake. If you would prefer one or more frozen loaves with your order, please note that in the Customer Note message box during checkout.

Place your order anytime before noon on your desired day of pickup and your loaf/loaves/butter will be ready for you when you come to the bakery on Thursday to Saturday (12 to 6) or Sunday (11 to 4) at 2214 West Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank.
